Stavros
Stavros is a settlement on the westside of the peninsula Akrotiri. The most buildings are set along an almost deserted beach. On a small beautiful bay was filmed the beach scenes of the movie Alexis Zorbas in the early sixties. Just 14 km from Chania is a good option to combine quiet holidays in comfortable accommodations with exploring the western part of Crete.
